Thesis Statement
Despite the previous political issues between Iran and the US in the 1960s, the US intelligence came up with thorough plans to rescue over 50 blindfolded and bounded hostages from the US embassy in Tehran, Iran, that were taken by Iranian student revolutionaries in the attempt to enforce their patriotism and the release of assets. This not only caused economic, domestic, military, and presidential conflict between the two countries but it also brought forth the leadership of calling a rescue mission by Jimmy Carter and the legacy of the military officials fearlessness of negotiation and surge of patriotism throughout the United States.
